
NEW YORK (Top40 Charts) - Art Alexakis will use his time off from making the next
Everclear album to embark on a solo tour.
The singer says he wants to go it solo ?- just his voice and a guitar -? to play some of Everclear's older songs in their rawest form. He also plans to debut a few new ditties from the band's next album, "Volvo-Driving Soccer Mom" and "Glorious." The not-yet-titled album is due later this year on Capitol.
