Prada Prim, born Jarrett Rivers, is an emcee from Bronx, NY. Growing up in the tough streets of the Bronx, it was music that saved Prim from the dead end life of gangbanging and drug dealing. Starting a Hip Hop group with childhood friends entitled "[L O F]", even at a young age Prim was wowing party goers and supplying Hip Hop fiends with that much needed lyricism they craved. Hitting the pavement running, Prim and [L O F] quickly took over their neighborhood, creating a buzz that found the group recording their savvy lyrical delivery in local recording studios. All was going well until tragedy struck, one of the group members and very close friend to Prim was killed at a nightclub. Taking time to mourn his friend's death, Prim took some time off from rapping only to return with a new found passion and relentless drive to fulfill the dream he and his friend set out to accomplish as teenagers, to take over the music industry.
Prim, who later earned the nickname Prada Prim for his decadent style of fashion, turned his focus to developing the business side of the industry, obtaining an agreement with a local restaurant owner to build a full service recording studio in the restaurant's basement. Taking on a team of engineers he spent countless hours recording in the studio. When he was not recording he would rent out the studio to other artists not only playing for the studio and the engineers' time but even turning a profit. Prim used these resources to establish Game Killahz, a collaborative music group dedicated to creating a self reliant and profitable production process for their stable of talent and partnering artists. Prim is currently turning Game Killahz into a fine tuned engine.
Although he is a movement leader and business owner Prim is most of all an artist and performer. Prada Prim's recent full length release "#LoseYaSelf" is a highly anticipated party based melodic roller coaster of hot tracks.
