NEW YORK (Top40 Charts) - Green Day sold 267,000 copies of American Idiot to score the punk band's first No. 1 on the Billboard 200 U.S. albums chart. The band's previous release, Warning, debuted at No. 4 in 2000 with 156,000 copies sold, Billboard reported Wednesday.
