Brooklyn Rockers Play 24 Gigs In 24 Hours
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Walking Shapes) Just as their new album "Taka Come On" bursts onto the CMJ charts, New York's Walking Shapes have completed an epic endurance feat sure to leave the city buzzing: playing 24 shows in 24 hours in 24 locations in New York City. Walking Shapes hit a myriad of prime NY venues for their tour de force, including rooftops, parks, the Bedford Ave subway station, record and retail stores as well as various night clubs and watering holes including Manhattan Inn in Greenpoint Brooklyn and Piano's in downtown Manhattan, even opening to a sold out crowd at Har Mar Superstar at Bowery Electric. The band strapped on GoPro's and was followed by a film crew to document the events the day's event which included stops at the Buzzfeed and Global Grind offices.

"We wanted to make our mark and become a part of the rich legacy of rock and roll in New York and this was our way of doing something that no one had ever done before. It was a tiring effort but we got to share our music with such a diverse audience, playing to the lunch crowd at the Shake Shack line-up in busy Madison Square Park was definitely a highlight," said lead singer Nathaniel Hoho.

This "love letter to New York" is in support of the release debut LP release produced by Gus Oberg (The Strokes, Willie Nelson, Drowners) which is accompanied by a full length visual shot on Super 8mm film by NYC director Adam Erick Wallace available for viewing on the bands website and YouTube channel.
