President, Marty Martel, announced today the legendary Ernest Tubb Midnite Jamboree will be revived via a very special tour planned to begin this fall and run through 2005. The Ernest Tubb Midnite Jamboree Tour will feature performances by the most nominated duo in country music history the Bellamy Brothers, 3-time Female Vocalist of the Year Janie Fricke, award-winning entertainer Eddy Raven, CMA/ACM Award winner David Frizzell, and Jett Williams, daughter of legendary Hank Williams. The official Ernest Tubb Midnite Jamboree is America's second longest running radio show and is still aired every Saturday night on WSM 650-AM, following the Grand Ole Opry. The Midnite Jamboree continues the tradition of bringing fans the country music they love from legendary artists to today's hit-makers and the newest country artists making their debut. The tour itself will carry the very same torch to bring some of country music's greatest legends and most prominent newcomers to the fans' front door. 'Midnight Special Productions is proud to present a tour that will take country music history around the nation,' says Martel, 'Not only will longtime country listeners be able to come out and see the legends perform the music they grew up listening to; this tour will deliver this traditional country music to a brand new audience.' Dates and locations of the Ernest Tubb Midnight Jamboree will be announced in the coming weeks.
