Royalty Rulez Releases New EP 'Entree And Canape'
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) The British hip hop project known as Royalty Rulez has released his latest EP album, "Entree and Canape." The album is comprised of ten original tracks for an approximate total listening time of 35 minutes. Royalty Rulez is listed on his official Facebook page as being signed to the Sky High Entertainment record label. A fresh and exotic sonic blend of old-school rap sensibilities and contemporary rhythm 'n' groove, "Entree and Canape" is one of the most intriguing and entertaining hip hop EPs of 2014 so far.

Royalty Rulez (also sometimes called "Double-R") cites as main musical influences such artists as Joe Black, Smiler, Ghetts, Nas, Reggie Rockston, D-Block, Tricky, and Drake. From these he takes a smattering of attributes, particularly in the general tone of his back beats and high production value of his album. However the overall Royalty Rulez sound is easy to distinguish as his own.

A prolific songwriter and performer, the "Entree and Canape" EP follows Royalty Rulez's shorter "Hors D'oeuvres" EP, released just four months prior in January of 2014.

"I've always loved the sound of music since a young age," he writes, noting that he does not mean the Julie Andrews musical. "I couldn't resist the burning desire to make my own music. Music makes me happy and does things to my mind that [nothing else] can match."

Asked to expound upon the intended meaning of his new EP, Royalty Rulez writes, "The message I share with listeners is to be who you are and to be sincere to your way of life." A simple, yet profound slogan appears on his official Facebook page: "If money was less, would our lives be more?"

Royalty Rulez is a 25-year-old Londoner, rapper, songwriter, and music producer. He was a Leukemia survivor by 19, having successfully battled the life-threatening illness with the aid of a bone-marrow transplant provided by his sister. His official bio describes his serious start in music during his final year of college:

"His love for music and the desire to join in its creation overwhelmed that of anything else in his life. He set up a budget studio at his home, experimented with beat making and after some time, amassed a catalogue of songs with a wider variety and commercial appeal than one might expect."

It also notes that "The 'Entrée & Canapé́ Project' is mostly produced and mastered by Royalty Rulez but gains from rich contributions made by the likes of Gareth Johnson at Standalone Productions on the song 'Boom Beat Badda Bang Rap,'" the album's opening track.

"Entree and Canape" by Royalty Rulez is available online worldwide.
