Diana Williamson's New Release 'Crazy Ole Heart'

New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Diana Williamson official website) Produced by Bob Wiseman (former Blue Rodeo keyboardist), Canadian singer songwriter Diana Williamson is releasing the single Crazy Ole Heart, a pop rock/Americana type song April 1st.

The Canadian Music Fund (FACTOR) granted Diana the money to go into the studio to record. Crazy Ole Heart cowritten with (Honky Stomp guitarist) Paul Jacques; details the rollercoaster ride one takes to find that "extraordinary love".

Diana was living in Los Angeles for the past ten years writing and performing with various hitmakers such as Narada Michael Walden (Aretha, Mariah, Whitney), Eddie Galan (High School Musical, Ginuwine), John Capek (Rod Stewart, Cher), Bruce Sugar (Ringo, Ozzie), Jud Friedman (Whitney, Celine) etc..

She won "Female Singer Songwriter of the Year" (Los Angeles Music Awards) and was nominated for Country Song of the Year for Cupid You Musta Been Drinking. The Los Angles Times described her performance as "A confident, flavorful groove redolent of Woodstock-era The Band and Van Morrison".

Diana's written 2 x #3 Billboard Hot Club chart songs for Universal's Mayra Veronica (Freak Like Me) and EMI's Sasha Lazard (Awakening). Her songs have played on every major tv station ABC, NBC's Jay Leno, Disney, HBO, MTV, VH1, etc and have been in a variety of films. (Queen of the Damned, Queen Latifah's Perfect Holiday, Return of the Universal Soldier), etc..

Diana's presently writing some new music and setting up her songwriting series "Wizards of Song", a songwriters in the round live series with prominent writers and performers.
