South Dat is an emcee born and raised in Chicago. Even though most of his fans and support comes from the South and West sides of Chicago, South Dat has also lived in Las Vegas, Washington D.C., and Florida. Recently signed to HardWork Entertainment, an independent record label out of Chicago, South Dat now has the team and resources needed to take the music industry by storm. Beyond being a member of Chicago based Hip Hop group, 24 Karat Muzik, South Dat is focused on flourishing his career as a solo artist.

"The Jordan Era: American Dream" mixtape is South Dat's first project released through HardWork Entertainment which has built up some serious hype featuring a series of hit singles including "In My Zone", "Dope Boy", and "Mobbin". "The Jordan Era: American Dream" mixtape is a great mix of hard hitting club records, 90's style roll out beats, and laid back smoked out anthems all keeping consistent with a non stop barrage of authentic street life themes. Keep an eye out for South Dat's EP to drop this April by following.
