 NEW YORK (Top40 Charts) - Soprano Heidi Grant Murphy, baritone Thomas Hampson, the New York Choral Artists and The American Boychoir will join the New York Philharmonic in a Sept. 20 memorial concert for the victims of this week's terrorist attacks at the World Trade Center and the Pentagon. The memorial concert, which replaces what was to have been the Philharmonic's opening-night gala, will be conducted by Kurt Masur, the orchestra's music director. The New York Philharmonic will perform Brahm's ``A German Requiem'' at Lincoln Center's Avery Fisher Hall. Proceeds from the concert will be donated to the disaster relief effort. MEMORIAL CONCERT Thursday September 20, 2001, 7:00 PM Opening Night gala activities cancelled. Net concert proceeds will be donated to World Trade Center disaster relief.
