NEW YORK (Atlantic Records) - Atlantic recording group the Donnas have unveiled details of their hotly anticipated fall tour. The coast-to-coast headlining run heralds the arrival of the Bay Area quartet's new album, "GOLD MEDAL," which lands in stores on October 26th. The new set is the follow-up to the Donnas' 2002 breakthrough label debut, "SPEND THE NIGHT."

The tour will kick off on November 3rd at Chicago's Metro/Smart Bar, with shows scheduled through the month. Supporting the Donnas on all November dates will be Detroit-based garage-poppers the Von Bondies and Northern Californian post-punk sensations, the Starlite Desperation. Also on the itinerary is a major show at New York City's Webster Hall -- slated for December 1st -- that will feature the Donnas co-headlining with Aussie hard rockers the Datsuns.

Tickets for the shows will begin to go on sale this week... check local show listings or ticket outlets for details.

"GOLD MEDAL" sees the Donnas - Brett Anderson: vocals; Torry Castellano: drums; Maya Ford: bass; Allison Robertson: guitars - raising the bar, as musicians and songwriters, to deliver the best work of their career.
Produced by Butch Walker (Avril Lavigne, Injected) and mixed by Chris Lord-Alge, such tracks as "Don't Break Me Down" and "Revolver" blast off the blocks with newfound invention and intensity. With "GOLD MEDAL," the Donnas take the top prize for vital, edgy, modern rock'n'roll.

"Fall Behind Me," the album's provocative first single, is quickly winning fans at radio. It was the No 1 most-added song at Alternative radio outlets nationwide last week, including such major stations as San Francisco's LIVE 105, Washington D.C.'s DC101, Chicago's Q101, Boston's FNX, Atlanta's 99X, and many more.

The companion video for "Fall Behind Me," directed by the visionary collective Tomorrow's Brightest Minds, is a '60s-inspired, black light, psychedelic tour-de-force. The video is currently premiering live on MTV.com (which is also featuring an exclusive Donnas flipbook), has been added into rotation at VH1, and has been named "Oven Fresh" on Fuse. MTV2 recently aired an in-depth, 30-minute special on the making of the video, appropriately entitled "The Donnas Make A Video."

The Donnas are set to appear in features spanning an array of national publications. The band is currently starring on the cover of the just-out issue of Nylon.
