We asked the band to tell what the meaning behind the song is and why they wrote it - this is what we got. "A few years had passed where I was sitting on earlier versions to Bad News. I never thought it would end up airing out cancer so close to my home and heart. In a time where it's not uncommon for terminal illness to rock the boats of families, yet a 'it'll never happen to me' mentality prevails, we can only restlessly wait and hope for healing." ~Doug Chambers
