The Unsigned Only
Music Competition, is a unique international music competition designed for solo artists, bands, and singers who are not signed to a major label record company or any of its affiliates, subsidiaries, or imprints. If you are signed to an independent label you ARE eligible to enter this competition. Unsigned Only is looking for outstanding, talented artists: a band, singer, or solo artist...a newcomer or veteran...raw or polished - the gem that needs to be discovered. Unsigned Only is looking for the total package.
Judged by a roster of celebrity notables, prizes include merchandise plus $10,000 cash to the overall Grand Prize winner and $1,000 to the First Place winner in each category. Prizes will also be awarded to Second Place winners in each category. Additionally, the Grand Prize winner will receive one-on-one mentoring from a group of upper echelon music industry executives, ranging from label presidents to heads of A&R. Mentors have included professionals from labels such as Universal, Sony, Atlantic, Capitol, Vagrant, Word, Bad Boy, Big Machine, Disney
Music Group, G-Unit, Razor & Tie, J Records, RCA, Grand Hustle, and many more.

Genres of music accepted are: AAA (Adult Album Alternative; AC (Adult Contemporary); Americana; Christian; Country; Folk/Singer-Songwriter; R&B/Hip-Hop; Rock; Pop/Top 40; Teen; and Vocal Performance. Unsigned Only accepts original and cover songs in all categories.
