Music City's Resident Guitarist David Andersen Breaks 500!
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Ambassador of Music City, David Andersen, is honored to have made his mark on the Nashville music scene by celebrating a landmark of performances - 520 performances in 2013.

This guitar virtuoso and mastermind stays busy and was dubbed the 'Ironman' last year by News Channel 4. "I am grateful to have so many here in Nashville embrace me and my music," says Andersen. "What an honor it is to be able to play for thousands of people and help make Nashville what it is today."

Andersen recently was tapped by the city to perform an all-rock solo guitar set for over 3,500 people at the Country Music Hall of Fame for the ABA (American Bus Association) Conference. The ABA delegates had the opportunity to hear him, along with country's best Martina McBride and Phil Vassar. He also graced the Music City Roots stage showcasing his guitar skills alongside guitar greats Jim Oblon, Guthrie Trapp and Ethan Ballinger and performed at high profile venues including Cheekwood, the Union Station Hotel, Omni Nashville hotel, among others.

As a permanent fixture at The Country Music Hall of Fame & Museum where he performs six days a week, Andersen recently had the privilege to meet Australian guitar legend, Tommy Emmanuel. They traded some guitar licks and he accompanied David by playing a sweet thumb-picked version of Chet Atkin's I'll See You In My Dreams. This ironman guitar maestro doesn't stop performing there. He also performs regularly at the Union Station Hotel and the VIC Bridgestone Arena.

A child music prodigy reared in Long Beach, California, this wunderkind could play music before he could even talk. An accomplished songwriter and proficient on multiple instruments, Andersen also made his ukulele radio debut. His back-to-back Virtuoso & Virtuoso II CD's, revisits the repertoire originally explored by his jazz genius Joe Pass and "certified guitar player" and producer/label exec Chet Atkins. You can purchase his music at www.DavidAndersenMusic.com, The Country Music Hall of Fame & Museum gift shop, the Ernest Tubb Record Shop and at the VIC Bridgestone Arena.

Each day, Andersen gives every new friend he meets at the Country Music Hall of Fame his signature guitar pick and a challenge..."remember why they came to Nashville and to take time to enjoy the music they came here to find." Indeed, with new albums and a landmark accomplishment and milestone under his belt, Andersen not only remembers but lives and breathes the music of Nashville every day.
