Ashthon Jones is a singer songwriter with roots in Atlanta, Nashville, and New York. From a strong musical family, Ashthon remembers her first exposure to performing singing her heart out in church. With constant encouragement, Ashthon took her singing career to Nashville where she worked for six years fine-tuning her craft, finding herself in a major publishing deal at the young age of 19. With influences such as the Clark Sisters, Mary Mary, Monica, Destiny's Child, and Mary J. Blige, Ashthon is focused on longevity and following in the footsteps of her idols.



Speaking of idols, Ashthon's career took a sharp turn for the better when she found herself a finalist on American Idol. After receiving a unanimous decision from Randy Jackson, Steven Tyler, and Jennifer Lopez to send her to Hollywood, Ashthon has experienced what others only dream of performing on the Idol World Tour and being interviewed in popular TV shows such as "LIVE with Regis & Kelly" and "Entertainment Tonight." Her TV appearances did not end there recently performing on two segments of BRAVO Network's hit television series "Married to Medicine."

Beyond television appearances Ashthon has recorded a song for the first lady, Michelle Obama's "Songs for a Healthier America" which was featured on Grammy.com as an exclusive first listen. She is also featured on Lacrae's Grammy award winning album with Big KRIT on the single "Mayday" and Big KRIT's new single "Good 2Gether."
