Lakefront Records Recording Artists, Chrome Cats, Hit Billboard Charts
Los Angeles, CA (Top40 Charts/ Lakefront Records) The sibling hip-hop/pop duo, Chrome Cats have officially entered Billboard's Top 40 Indicator Chart with their highly anticipated single "Best Life". With support from their Malaysian based label, Lakefront Records, the track has debuted at number 36 this week on the Indicator charts, thanks to Lakefront Records and the Chrome Army across the nation. This chart placement comes after hundreds of thousands of views on YouTube for their music video "Best Life" and the charting of their last single "DNA of a Winner". Forward is the only way to go and these talented teens truly deserve it.

The song celebrates all that is amazing in life: staying out late, partying, hanging out with friends and loved ones, and living the best days of your life. With the intention of creating a universal song for all ages, Chrome Cats certainly have provided something for everyone. At the helm of producer Floyd "Timeless" Thomas, the song starts with Mila singing her infectious hook over a pulsating, pounding, and party-inducing beat. KJ comes in spitting the truth once Mila is through, and the duo begins their back-and-forth. The single goes on to put a plethora of danceable beats and deep lyrics in your eardrums. The in your face, get up and move track has been the catalyst for helping the Chrome Cats make waves not only on the radio charts, but also in numerous publications including Refinery 29 and the covers of magazines, most recently Young Celebrity News.

KJ and Mila Sims come from modest beginnings, originally from the city of Vallejo, California. After a family decision, they eventually picked up their sticks and moved to the Chicago/Indiana area. One scorching summer night, they tried their hand at music after a suggestion from their mother and their career began. Their love for music stuck and ever since that fateful night, the duo has worked harder and harder to prove their spot. Determined to never take it for granted, the Chrome Cats continue to push themselves and improve every time they perform.

Lakefront Records is an established record label based in Malaysia, who found the Chrome Cats in the age of MySpace. Enamored with their talent, CEO Bryan Tan signed the duo, helping to catapult the Chrome Cats career. The roster has since grown, as LakeFront is one of top labels in Malaysia.
