NEW YORK (www.kingzofdacastle.com) - Kings Of The Castle (K.O.C.), a five-man hip hop group reigning from Castle Hill Housing projects in the notorious South Bronx is comprised of, Remo Da Rapstar, OneMan Gang, Ty Skrilla, S-1 and Hocus who's street savvy and one of a kind personalities have gained them recognition within their own community by continuously moving units of their debut mixtape. Using solely word of mouth, to promote their unique sound, K.O.C. is determined on making a mark by creating a revolutionary approach to getting heard in today's hip hop industry.

Although they have been recording for three years, the K.O.C. movement started years ago. Growing up together in the infamous South Bronx projects, the group realized that joining forces would allow their individual talents to gain further recognition. Remo, the group's visionary and most music industry-tested member set the framework for their union. After successfully touring on his own, he returned home to share the lessons that he had learned with the only people whose hunger for success could match his. Remo cooked up a batch of what he calls 'hip hop gumbo,' assembling a cast diverse enough to appeal to hip-hop's fan base.

Aside from Remo, the mastermind of K.O.C., OneMan Gang provides the enthusiasm and raw energy driving the group's music; Ty Scrilla the Pimp Gorilla, as his name suggests ensures that K.O.C.'s female fans are never unsatisfied, S-1, the South Bronx Favorite Son, brings a rare level of lyrical dexterity, battle tested on the streets of the world's most discerning critics and Hocus, the final piece to the puzzle, has a 'gutter' style that serves as a stern warning, the Kings' reign is not to be challenged.

K.O.C. has moved over ten thousand units of their debut mixtape and are gearing up to unleash a catalogue of talent unlike anything the music industry has ever witnessed. Rather than play the political hopscotch required to garner a spot on an established DJ's mixtape, K.O.C. has taken their own route towards achieving their current level of success by creating their own mixtapes.

The upcoming ten-part mixtape series which feature up and coming hip hop artists from different boroughs in the New York tri-state area, has allowed the best rappers from each borough to represent their hood and in the process create an outlet of exclusive music provided by K.O.C. As a result, the group has taken a creative spin on the mixtape world by breaking borough barriers while showcasing their lyrical abilities. By using this technique and the same guerilla-style marketing tactics that has successfully gained them exposure from their first release, K.O.C hopes to gain further recognition within other communities and construct a platform for their brand.

With their own mixtapes, K.O.C. hopes to revive the industry with music that will make them the most innovative unsigned group in hip-hop history, and in the process, reinvent the genre. Therefore, K.O.C. are plotting a takeover that can only prove them fit for the throne.
