Don't Cry" reaching 113,786 views in just a few months. The new "Remi Everyday" music video was posted days ago and already at 1,000+ views. REMI (with Meadow Gang) is thrilled to be opening the show for Bad Boy/ Interscope rapper Machine Gun

REMI first performed in front of an audience and co-wrote his first song at age 12 while on the school bus with classmates. Around that time he was also learning to play guitar and later piano which lead to joining a band to free styling to recording his first rap song. Having accomplished all this by the 10th grade, REMI committed to making music for the rest of his life. Now 20, he is ready to reach a wider audience and hopes to follow in the footsteps of recent Canadian breakthrough artists such as
Drake and Justin Bieber.

"
Don't Cry" is REMI's first single and was one of the most challenging songs for the artist to write and record. "Two months after my Gramps passed I finished writing the song," reflects REMI, "it's by far my personal favourite and I don't think that will ever change. Family is so important and after an extremely bad year in which three of my family members passed, I felt obligated to myself and family to write it. It means so much to us that we can share what happened with people, in hopes that it helps with grieving and moving on.
For live shows, REMI performs with a collective called MEADOW GANG featuring Chriish Audrey, Devon Hicks aka Big Dev, Dayone, Cry Baby, Uncle Daddy, Dirty Needs and Jenn Hamilton aka Yung Jham.
