NEW YORK (Alicia Keys Fans Website) - US RnB singer Alicia Keys and British violin act Bond have canceled concerts in the Indonesian capital after last week's deadly suicide attack on the Australian Embassy. A spokesman for promoter Java Musikindo said Saturday that both acts were due to play Jakarta next month but have pulled out due to Thursday's bombing, which killed nine people and wounded more than 170.

Indonesia has been hit by a series of bombings in recent years that have led many acts to avoid playing in the country. In recent months, however, several popular Western bands performed here.
The embassy blast was blamed on the al-Qaida-linked terror group Jemaah Islamiyah, which was also implicated in the 2002 Bali bombings and a blast last year on the J.W. Marriott Hotel in Jakarta.
