Euro Electro-Pop Duo The Green Children Releases M4SONIC Remix Single Of 'Possessed'
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Substance Co) Marlow and Milla first heard M4SONIC's unique and timeless sound in a remix of Empire of the Sun's track 'Alive'. M4SONIC is a widely known Electro-house artist that not only became famous for his incredible Launchpad videos on YouTube, but also for accidentally producing the track, 'What Does the Fox Say?'. When Nick (M4SONIC) listened to 'Possessed', he instantly felt a connection with the vocals, the band, and the fact that "giving back" is such a huge part of The Green Children project. Once M4Sonic had finished producing the remix, Grammy Award winner Myles Walker laid down the final mix and the team got started on the cinematic music video that follows two escaped manikins running through the the city of Los Angeles.

On Saturday, November 30th, The Green Children will perform in Hollywood at a Peace4Kids benefit concert at The Hotel Cafe.

About The Green Children

Milla (from Norway) and Marlow (from England) met at Sir Paul McCartney's Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts. In 2006 they released their first single, along with a fund-raising CD/DVD entitled 'Hear Me Now'. Through sales and donations from around the world they helped raise over $400,000 to help build one of the first eye hospitals in rural Bangladesh. The hospital was opened on May 12th 2008 by The Green Children Foundation and the Nobel Peace Prize winner, Professor Muhammad Yunus.

After signing with Universal Music Group upon graduation, they decided the best fit for their 2010 debut album, Encounter, was Jackson Browne's Spinside Records. The album was nominated in the first round of voting for a US Grammy Award in two categories; "Best New Artist" and "Best Pop Vocal Album".

Rolling Stone described Encounter as a collection of "...dance-pop ballads from elfin dreamers…Encounter glides by like Lady Gaga on a unicorn. Sunde gives synth-diva histrionics a mystical spritz, singing about dragons and black magic over skittering electro beats."

Mobo said, "The Green Children masterfully sprinkle sincere soul and magic into a music scene that requires some much needed fantasy and romanticism…The emerald duo's debut is an audio fairytale that confiscates all grips on reality and leaves one hopelessly daydreaming."

The album also received several high profile remixes from the likes of Paul Oakenfold, Digital Dog and Moguai with a remix from 7th Heaven reaching #17 in the UK club charts.

Searching for inspiration for their sophomore record, Marlow and Milla returned to the mysterious woods and crystal-blue lakes of Norway. While immersed in the countryside, the duo recorded and produced an official remix for chart toppers Foster the People, along with their full length sophomore album entitled Connection.

Connection was released on July 23rd, 2013 exclusively through Amoeba Music. The album entered the Amazon MP3 charts (USA) at No. 25 and received rave reviews from countless media outlets.

While Amoeba Music compared Connection to "the Cocteau Twins dancing with La Roux", PolicyMic described it as "A triumph that will sit nicely in any music collection, an album to listen to again and again, enjoy and never forget."
