Smash 100GRAND, born Dwayne Hicks, is a rapper from Durham, NC but raised in the Green Acres projects of Henderson, NC. Born into a musical family, Smash 100GRAND's uncle a popular rap artist, he started rapping and dreaming of a successful music career at the young age of 11 years old. By the time Smash was 16 years old his popularity earned him the name "16" for dominating the older kids at local rap battles.
