D'Alexander, born
David Sandoval, is a South Florida rapper whose style reflects the melting pot of cultures of which he was born and raised. Always passionate about music, D'Alexander started writing and producing music at the young age of 13. Influenced by artists such as Jay-Z, Kanye West, and Pusha T; D'Alexander has a strong appreciation for Hip Hop but looks beyond Hip Hop for inspiration from other cutting edge music genres often finding inspiration from artists across the spectrum from
Lana Del Rey to Major Lazer. This openness and interest in music as a whole allows D'Alexander to produce a relevant fresh sound and reach a broad audience.
Signed to an indie label out of Miami at a young age, D'Alexander has toured throughout Florida and opened for huge national acts such as
Pitbull and Rick Ross. Finding that level of success at a young age D'Alexander decided to take a brief hiatus to get a Masters Certificate from Berklee College of
Music in
Music Business and Technology. Now with the skills to engineer, produce, and release his own music; D'Alexander, now a free agent, brings all of his experience, confidence, and maturity to elevate his own music career and fans are paying attention.
His new single "Tryna Get Mine" produced by Hulyonthebeat and Hugo Diaz, is a great example of D'Alexander's hard hitting flows accented by a chopped style hook. The music video depicts the Miami life from South Beach balling to the grimy street art scene of Downtown.
