Stanley Progman Releases New LP 'Journey One'
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) The DJ and composer of digital music known as Stanley Progman has released his latest LP album, titled, "Journey One." The album has been specifically arranged and released as a continuous mix, providing a flow and emotional spectrum that is otherwise hindered by punctuated song tracks. The album is comprised of 11 original EDM compositions written and produced by Progman, himself.

Progman cites as main artistic influences a pantheon of EDM musicians familiar to all fans of the genre: DJ Sasha, John Digweed, Paul Oakenfold, and Tiesto. His own compositions envelop most of the core principles agreed upon by these titanic DJs, but only as a foundation upon which he builds his own sonic structure.

Progman's music is more spacious and less cluttered than the largest portion of available EDM, utilizing clean, precise phrasing and innovative melody structures. Some of his songs recall many of the best elements of traditional trance music. He describes his style as, "trance-minded, progressive electronic dance music," a term that suits his sound very well.

Stanley Progman is one of very few classically trained EDM writers. He attended both music school and DJ school. He is both a champion and critic of the contemporary do-it-yourself atmosphere of music making.

"I believe it's a really exciting time for music," he writes. "Artists have got powerful tools in their hands to present their music the way they want to. And this is absolutely great, because most labels are not so flexible when it comes to discovering and developing unique talents. That's why I go my own way with this album."

Progman has been outspoken in his distaste for the big, corporate music industry, and has made his music widely available to casual listeners and professional DJs in appropriate formats for both.

"There's no need to give away the rights to labels to see your music buried in tons of other releases," he writes. "It's much better to really try doing something your own, unique way!"

"Journey One" by Stanley Progman is available online worldwide.

The LP "Journey One" is distributed globally by MondoTunes (www.MondoTunes.com) and is available at iTunes or www.top40-charts.com for convenient purchase and download.
