Republic Records Captures 5 Of The Top 10 Titles On The Billboard Top 200!
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Republic Records) Over the past two months, REPUBLIC RECORDS has enjoyed a historic run at the top of the charts, culminating with five albums reaching the Top 10 of the Billboard Top 200 this week.

Four recent albums - ARIANA GRANDE's Yours Truly [Republic Records], JACK JOHNSON 's From Here to Now to You [Brushfire / Republic Records], Drake 's Nothing Was The Same [Young Money Entertainment / Cash Money / Republic Records], and Pearl Jam 's Lightning Bolt [Monkeywrench / Republic Records] - debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top 200 upon release.

Following that milestone, five of the label's albums - LORDE 's Pure Heroine [LAVA / Republic Records], DJ KHALED 's Suffering From Success [We The Best Music Group/Cash Money Records / Republic Records], AFI 's Burials [Republic Records], Lightning Bolt , and Nothing Was the Same - are currently holding strong in the Top 10 of the Billboard Top 200. The label has successfully occupied half of the Top 10.

Recently, REPUBLIC RECORDS has yielded numerous #1 singles and albums. The Weeknd 's sophomore set Kiss Land [ XO / Republic Records ] landed at #1 on Billboard 's Top R&B Albums Chart, while Pure Heroine bowed at #1 on Billboard 's Top Rock Albums Chart and The Avett Brothers' Magpie and the Dandelion [ American / Republic Records ] entered at #1 on Billboard 's Top Folk Albums Chart. In total, that makes for seven #1 albums across multiple charts in less than eight week's time.

That success also continues at radio as well. LORDE 's ubiquitous smash "Royals" has spent four weeks at #1 on Billboard 's Hot 100 Chart, while also clinching #1 at Hot AC, Top 40, AAA, and ALT. The song sees the 16-year-old New Zealand phenom become the youngest artist to top the Hot 100 since 1986. Meanwhile, it set a new record for "Longest #1 at Alternative Radio by a Female Artist" with a stunning seven weeks at the top. Young Money/Cash Money' DRAKE 's "Hold On, We're Going Home" continues to hold on strong at #1 on Rhythm/Urban, while PEARL JAM 's elegant ballad "Sirens" sits at #1 at AAA.
