NEW YORK (Artemis Records) - Sugarcult have been tapped to tour with Green Day and New Found Glory for their entire upcoming North American tour.
The quartet has been touring non-stop since the April release of their album PALM TREES AND POWER LINES, on the strength of the first single, "Memory". Sugarcult were one of the biggest draws on the Main Stage of this summer's Warped Tour.

Sugarcult's new single, "She's The Blade" is going for adds at Alternative radio now. The single was produced by Gavin MacKillop and mixed by Tom Lord-Alge. The corresponding video, directed by Saline Project (The Roots, Mars Volta), will make its debut on national video outlets shortly. The cutting edge video features the band as mad scientists and intersperses live-action sequences with a unique form of digital animation.

PALM TREES AND POWER LINES has received high praise from the press. Entertainment Weekly enthused, "Sugarcult play wistful alt-rock with killer three part vocal harmonies". The Washington Post stated that the album "is impossibly catchy and dexterously done, full of anthemic, melancholy songs so perfectly keyed".
