Rudolph And Frosty Get Modern Makeover 11.05; Billboard Top 20 Singer Whitney Wolanin Releases Holiday Mini-Album
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Shore Fire Media) On November 5, TopNotch will release 'Run, Run Rudolph,' a Christmas mini-album from singer, songwriter and pianist Whitney Wolanin (WHOA-Lan-in). The album features modern takes on holiday classics like "Frosty the Snowman," "Silver Bells" and "Run, Run, Rudolph."

"Christmas has always felt really comforting, so when I did my renditions, I wanted them to have that element of comfort, but also sound like a Christmas party," said Wolanin. "That's the inspiration for why they're up-tempo. I want people to dance to them."

Wolanin, a 23-year-old Vanderbilt University grad who splits her time between her native South Florida and Nashville, reached the Billboard Adult Contemporary Top 20 with "Wrong Guy (I Did It This Time)," which she wrote and recorded. Inspired by Sara Bareilles and Gavin DeGraw, Wolanin has opened for The Beach Boys, performed at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, and had her music featured on several MTV shows including the hit series "The Hills."
