Hawkins is a nominee this year in the "Urban Artist" category, while Orlando will be the recipient of a "Lifetime Achievement, Percussionist" Hollywood F.A.M.E. award at the event. Hawkins is a two time recipient in the 2012 LA
Music Awards, taking home the "Record of the Year", and "Mark Vigil Male Singer/Songwriter of the Year" accolades.
The duo have a long and rooted history in the Funk, Soul, Blues, Jazz and Latin realms, and are a positive influence and inspiration to musicians young and old.
