Reggae Band Celestial Waters Releases Self-Titled LP 'Celestial Waters'
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) The masters of reggae known as Celestial Waters have released their latest album, a long-awaited self-titled LP, "Celestial Waters." The album is comprised of 11 original tracks for an approximate total listening time of 45 minutes. It is the most significant official release from Celestial Waters to date, and stands as a prominent example of contemporary reggae music from two of the world's most talented and creative music artists.

Celestial Waters is the band name of singers and songwriters St. Paul and Timi Television (Timi T.V.). Together, they produce some of the most legitimate reggae music available in the modern era, their new self-titled record being the definitive collection of their work. As such, it exemplifies their style, which is based on the traditional reggae sound most often heard in artists such as Bob Marley, but differs in Celestial Waters' use of contemporary electronica motifs, samples, and other innovative additions to the sonic mix.

Celestial Waters' official bio calls their band a "counterattack on the current state of music," and an "organic reggae and hip-hop influenced recording project." They cite as main artistic influences seemingly disparate acts such as Damian Marley and Nas, Roots and Jimi Hendrix, and say also that they are aware of a more modern sound in their repertoire that recalls pop musicians such as the UK's female pop star, MIA.

Their musical career as Celestial Waters began in Philadelphia classrooms where they fashioned music with humanist, positive, enriching lyrics and a deep groove to "convert" some of their more endangered students to a constructive lifestyle. Their success in this vein led them to grow outside of the classroom where their music continues to thrive. Their instrumentation is performed and recorded live, their production achieved with the help of ProTools and other such modern implements.

"Celestial Waters," by Celestial Waters, is available online worldwide. Get in early.
