NEW YORK (Hyatt Hotels Corporation) - Classic Rock Star Mick Fleetwood debuts the New York distribution of his signature MICK FLEETWOOD PRIVATE CELLAR WINE at the Grand Hyatt on September 13th from 2 to 3:30 PM in the state-of-the-art Manhattan Ballroom, overlooking 42nd Streets and Lexington Avenue. Grand Hyatt New York is the only venue in New York City that will debut Mick Fleetwood Private Cellar. Other establishments will follow throughout 2005.

Mick Fleetwood, the co-founder of the iconic rock bank Fleetwood Mac will stop in New York between concerts for an appearance at the Grand Hyatt to introduce his private label wine to press and other invited guests. Fleetwood chose Winemaker, Mike Brown to blend 25% Cabernet Franc and 75% Merlot grapes from Westerly Vineyards in Santa Ynez for this distinctive, all-occasion wine.
Aged for 30 months in French oak casks and 18 months in the bottle for optimal flavor development and structure, this wine earns the distinction: Mick Fleetwood, Private Cellar.

"This unique rare wine is a perfect compliment to the Grand Hyatt's new look and image reflected in our guestrooms and dining venues," said Norbert Relecker, senior food and beverage director, Grand Hyatt New York.

The Grand Hyatt New York recently underwent a $65 million renovation which features 1,336 completely refurbished guest rooms including Hyatt's new "Grand Bed," the Manhattan Sky restaurant and bar overlooking 42nd Street, and the Commodore Grill and Lounge. While completely updated with a stylish, contemporary look; the hotel's history dates back to 1918 when it first opened as The Commodore, an old-world European hotel.

In addition to his new wine, Mick is launching an all-new record this month. The Mick Fleetwood Band: Something Big will be released on Sept. 28th through Sanctuary Records, Tall Man Records and distributed worldwide by BMG. This album is Mick's third solo outing and was recorded over the last few years. The band is anchored by a 3-piece group, where Mick is joined by Emmy-nominated co-producer/writer/singer/guitarist Todd Smallwood and a new comer, Lauren Evans who lends her voice to 9 of the 12 tracks. "Something Big" also finds contributions by such luminaries as John McVie, Jackson Browne, and Jeremy Spencer.
More information about this record will be available shortly at www.TheMickFleetwoodBand.com.
