 GIRARD, OH. (Twista Fans Fans Website) - Chicago rapper Twista was injured in a van crash on Interstate 90 near Girard, Ohio, that killed a member of his entourage and injured five others. Twista, whose real name is Carl Mitchell, was treated at an area hospital and released, the press reported Tuesday. Arthur Dixon of Chicago, a member of Mitchell's security staff, died after arriving at Hamot Medical Center, police said. Only one of the injured remained hospitalized Tuesday and was reported in stable condition. Twista and his crew were traveling from Syracuse, N.Y. to Chicago when their van veered into the median early Monday morning and rolled, state police said. The driver, Otis Bankhead, was the only person wearing and seatbelt and the only one not ejected from the vehicle, police said. No charges have been filed, but police are still investigating the crash. Twista, 30, holds the Guinness Record for fastest rapper in the world. His latest album, Kamikaze, has topped the Billboard charts.
