Slacker Radio Reimagined For iOS 7, Available Now
San Diego (Top40 Charts/ Atomic PR) Slacker Radio, the most complete music service on Earth, has released an all-new mobile app for iOS 7 to help listeners quickly and easily find the perfect music for any moment - with stations, playlists, and recommendations curated by a team of human music experts. An all-new "My Vibe" feature connects listeners with hundreds of handcrafted playlists for any activity, whether you're hitting the gym, hitting the books, or hitting the road. The new Slacker app for iOS 7 is available now at the Apple App Store and will be available soon on Android.

"Millions of songs and a search box isn't a great listening experience - it's work"
With more than 80 percent of Slacker's audience listening on mobile devices, the newly redesigned iOS 7 app includes a streamlined interface and features designed to help listeners easily explore millions of songs and hundreds of expert-curated stations on-the-go. From quick-start tiles on the home screen to the all-new "My Vibe" playlists, Slacker has been rebuilt to focus on helping listeners quickly and easily navigate one of the world's largest music libraries.

"Millions of songs and a search box isn't a great listening experience - it's work," said John Hayase, Chief Product Officer. "Slacker's team of passionate music curators has spent years creating hundreds of stations, countdowns, original programming and playlists to take the effort out of finding great music. And our new app for iOS 7 has been completely rebuilt to connect our users to the best listening experience anywhere, faster and easier than ever."

The new "My Vibe" feature is accessed through Slacker's home screen and allows users to select an activity based on what they're doing at any given time. Listeners choose an activity and "My Vibe" suggests handcrafted playlists created by Slacker's team of music curators. Whether you're hosting Sunday brunch, a kid's birthday party, or an all-night dance party, "My Vibe" delivers a perfectly tailored soundtrack every time.

Slacker is the most complete music service on Earth, offering on-demand access to millions of songs plus hundreds of expert-curated stations and original programming hosted by human DJs, including countdowns, A-Z specials and more. Slacker also delivers customizable news, sports, weather and comedy from ABC, ESPN, The Weather Channel and American Public Media.

Slacker launched its digital music service in 2010. The company has doubled its business every year and is the only digital music service that has billing and distribution deals with every major North American wireless provider, including Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile and U.S. Cellular. In addition, Slacker is available in vehicles produced by major automotive manufacturers including Ford, GM, Chrysler Group, Acura, Honda, Scion, Subaru and Tesla.
