NEW YORK (Artemis Records) - Chris Scully has been named Chief Financial Officer for Artemis Records, based at the company's headquarters in New York City. He will report directly to Artemis CEO/Chairman Danny Goldberg. Goldberg commented, "To find a sophisticated senior finance executive who also loves music is harder than finding a needle in a haystack. We are very lucky that Chris Scully, who possesses these attributes and more, has joined us at this crucial stage in the growth of Artemis Records". Scully was most recently Vice President, Financial Operations for the Warner Music Group.

Scully began his career as an accountant at Ernst and Young, Co. in 1989. He was promoted to Senior Accountant, a position he held for three years.
In 1992, Scully joined the staff of PolyGram Records, Inc. as Senior Financial Analyst of PolyGram Diversified Entertainment. In 1995, Scully was named Director, Finance and Operations for EMI Merchandising, Inc. at the EMI Records Group North America, a position he held until 1996.

From 1996-2000, Scully held the position of Chief Financial Officer/Controller for Matador Records, Inc. In 2000, Scully joined the staff of Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia as Assistant Vice President, Finance and Operations, Internet/Direct Commerce. In 2001, Scully was named Vice President, Financial Operations for Warner Music Group, a position he held for three years.
