Introducing... Hares! New Single 'Just A Picture' Released On September 30, 2013
LONDON, UK (Top40 Charts) 2012 saw Hares release their debut EP 'Coastlines', topping the Music Week Top Ten Playlist and gathering radio support from Steve Lamacq, Huw Stevens and Janice Long. The band also featured on XFM's X-posure Top 5 list.

Hares rise continues into 2013 - support tours with One Night Only, Pigeon Detectives and the Vaccines were topped off with live performances at Glastonbury, T in the Park and Hop Farm festival.

Hares are now all set to release their new single 'Just A Picture' on September 30th 2013. You can check out the video here

Led by singer Robb Skipper - whose rich musical heritage includes playing with The Holloways, collaborating with Jamie T, Babyshambles and Patrick Wolf to name but a few - the Battersea-based 'bubblegum grunge' band combine the lovelorn themes of the great rock & roll singers like Roy Orbison and Buddy Holly with the soaring/searing guitars of The Jesus and Mary Chain and the uplifting epic soulfulness of Exile-era Stones and a slight country-tinged lyrical melancholy of Gram Parsons.

Inspired by everyone from Violent Femmes to Roy Orbison, Hares write infectious earworms perfect for the summer - and 'Just A Picture' is no exception. Enjoy.

- ''A meaty, melodic rock cracker from one of London's greatest guitar prospects" - (Mark Beaumont, NME)

- "Catchy, harmonising vocals overlay rhythms that will drag at least a toe-tapping out of even the most stubborn listener" - (7 Bit Arcade)

Hares live dates:
24 Sept - The Monarch (Single launch party)
05 Oct - Koko (Club NME)
30 Oct - Koko (Supporting the Pigeon Detectives)
