Introducing Hip Hop/House Duo The LNDs And Their New Single 'I Don't Know'

LONDON, UK (Top40 Charts/ Sticky Toffee PR) The LNDs consists of two rappers - Jay and Mario. Jay the elder of the two was born and raised in Hackney spending most of his life in that area, whilst Mario was originally born in Colombia before moving to Hackney.



The main aim of The LNDs music is to connect with people positively. "Our musical concept is to bring together real life situations as a form of escapism". The themes in their music have can be seen in everyday life experiences and things we have all seen such as love, heart break and growing up in a modern city. Together their music can cross the global and be identified by people from all walks of life. This is a far cry from the street like lyrics they first stared writing, but they made a conscious decision to make songs that do not glorify the violence that they grew up around. The LNDs believe that they have something fresh and new to offer as a duo in the music.

Starting with the hip hop genre, they have worked with reggaeton, house, as well as a variety of fusion genres. This has benefited them by making them more diverse and adaptable as well as creating a unique sound. They have previously focused on two main genres, hip hop and reggaeton but effortlessly combine new and different genres to their sound. Mario produces some of their more unique instrumentals while the rest have been produced for by various U.K producers and they are now working with producers from the USA.

'I Don't Know' is the latest offering from The LNDs, and combines the duo's hip hop, dance and house music influences to create a hugely addictive and unique club anthem. Backed by synth fuelled, anthemic production, the duo deliver translingual verses telling a tale of a heartbreak which every club-goer can relate to.
