Richard Lennox Unveils Classical Solo Album
LONDON, UK (Top40 Charts/ Quite Great PR) Virtuoso pianist Richard Lennox has announced that his new self-titled album, a collection of 10 classic piano pieces, will be released on 21st October.

The classical pianist has been a fast emerging artist within the classical and crossover scenes. Hailed for both his incredible talents and his fresh approach to the instrument, Lennox has performed in theatre, cabaret and major concert venues across the UK and Europe. Delighting audiences through his recitals, Richard has appeared on episodes of the BBC's 'Songs of Praise' and the annual Prom Praise at the Royal Albert Hall. He has featured on the same bill with such artists as Rick Wakeman, Nicholas Parsons and Jess Conrad.

Releasing two crossover albums, 'Calm Beneath The Storm' and 'Winter Toccata', Richard Lennox has highlighted his musical range. Having the ability to play everything from Bach to The Beatles, musical theatre to rock 'n' roll, Richard's musical grounding is vast. First discovering the instrument at the tender age of three, Richard learnt by ear before his classical training. A sufferer of Aspergers Syndrome, the illness has in fact led to his musical development, shaping him into the artist he is today.

His latest self-titled album sees Richard performing 10 classical pieces. Among this collection Richard performs works from Chopin ('Nocturne Op. 9 No. 2'), Rachmaninoff ('Prelude in C# Minor') and Christian Sinding ('Rustle of Spring'). Highlighting his range, from Satie's beautifully understated 'Gnossienne No.1' to his interpretation of the complex Mendelssohn piece 'Rondo', Richard's restraint and performance is impeccable throughout.
