Artemis Records to release 'Tell Us The Truth' CD and DVD in October; Both to feature performances by Tom Morello, Billy Bragg, Mike Mills, Steve Earl and more!

NEW YORK (Aretmis Records) - On October 5th, Artemis Records will release the compilation CD of material taken from last November's "Tell Us The Truth" tour, entitled TELL US THE TRUTH - THE LIVE CONCERT RECORDING. The CD and DVD feature Tom Morello as The Nightwatchman, Billy Bragg, Mike Mills (REM), Steve Earle, Jill Sobule and many more. Later the same month on October 19th, Artemis Records will release the companion DVD of the same name, featuring performances not included on the CD.

The "Tell Us The Truth" tour was comprised of performers taking part in both acoustic and spoken word performances. The goal of the tour was to encourage fans to think about broader issues such as the upcoming presidential election and media consolidation. Many of the artists on the tour first performed solo, and then all joined together for a grand finale to sing a medley of well-known songs.

The first single from the album, also entitled "The Revolution Starts Now", is gaining serious momentum at AAA. It is currently in rotation at AAA giants New York City's WFUV, Chicago's WXRT, Philadelphia's WXPN, WDET in Detroit, amongst others. The single is currently #14* on the RandR Indicator chart.
