Minnesota Alternative Rock Band Avenue Army To Release Debut Album "Words With Action"

New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Maelstrom PR) CORCORAN MN: The alternative rock band known to Minnesota locals as Avenue Army will be releasing their debut album titled "Words with Action" on September 17th 2013. The album will be distributed internationally through CD Baby.

"The album turned out great" states singer Max Bergstrom we wholeheartedly believe that this album speaks to our fans and listeners to give them a good idea of our powerful, yet versatile and loud alt pop rock sound." Bergstrom, who also plays guitar on the album, has studied under and worked with Kevin Bowe, Jill Holly, and Kenny Rardin the name of the album came from the determination the band had to complete the album while at the same time overcoming personal vice struggles. "We built (the album) from the bottom up" states Bergstrom. It is also recovery related for me, since I struggled with addiction through much of the album process."

The band is no stranger to performances having opened for Abstract Rude and Musab of MN hip hop fame. "Our first gig ever was played at the Lonely Isle in Cloquette… It was a private party for the Hell's Angels MC." states Bergstrom. The band is planning a regional tour after the release.
