Institute Student To Play At BBC Proms
LONDON, UK (Top40 Charts/ ICMP) Institute Student To Play At BBC Proms Website: https://www.icmp.co.uk
An Institute of Contemporary Music Performance student, Vic Jamieson, noticed an opportunity to perform at the BBC Proms in the Royal Albert Hall being promoted by the Institute's internal career service "The Hub". He subsequently contacted the company involved and was offered an audition. Vic performed brilliantly at his audition and will now be performing with Fazer Official and the BBC Symphony Orchestra during the Urban Classic Prom at the Royal Albert Hall on Saturday the 10th of August.

The night will merge classical sounds from the BBC Symphony Orchestra with leading performers from the UK's urban music scene including Laura Mvula, Wretch 32, Maverick Sabre, Lady Leshurr and Jacob Banks.

During their time at the Institute, students are regularly introduced to performance opportunities with some of the country's leading production companies, helping them to get gigs with various highly regarded festivals and at premier venues around the UK. The Institute provides student's with the opportunity to work with a dedicated department "The Hub" which aims to provide students with the support and guidance needed to shape their careers in the music industry.

Speaking of his upcoming performance Vic said, "Preparing for the gig has been one of the best things in my entire life, I can't contain how excited I am to take to the stage on Saturday. We've had a ton of mentoring, and I've been able to jam with some incredible talent. I've grown a lot as a musician."
