NEW YORK (Sparrow Records) - On November 2, Sparrow Records will re-issue the first three albums from breakthrough rock act Switchfoot ("Meant To Live") as one 3-CD set, giving millions of the band's new MTV and mainstream radio fans quick, affordable access to a hit-filled catalog that dates back to 1997.

The set compiles all Switchfoot full-length recordings made prior to the current platinum selling smash, THE BEAUTIFUL LETDOWN. They include THE LEGEND OF CHIN (1997), NEW WAY TO BE HUMAN (1999), and LEARNING TO BREATHE (2000). Balancing surfer coolness, timeless melody, spiritual depth, and rock intuition, each CD was universally acclaimed upon initial release. Among the early energetic, unconventional hits featured here are "Chem 6A," "Might Have Ben Hur," "New Way To Be Human," "You Already Take Me There," and the first recording of "I Dare You To Move" which was later re-done for THE BEAUTIFUL LETDOWN.

In all, the Switchfoot 3-CD set, in stores everywhere November 2, gathers three full-length recordings, original artwork, 32 songs, and nearly two hours of music. For complete information about Switchfoot – past, present, and future – go to Switchfoot.com.
