Saratoga Springs, New York . The group of five pianist siblings, will also bring their five piano ensemble to The Ravinia Festival on
September 5 , and for the first time, to Carnegie Hall on October 18 .

The centerpiece of their upcoming album is a performance of The Rite of
Spring and was recorded live on May 29 , 2013—100 years to the day from its original premiere in Paris . Composed in 1913 by Igor Stravinsky for Sergei Diaghilev's Ballets Russes, it was a controversial piece that sparked a riot in the packed theatre during its premiere. Produced by Adam Abeshouse , Grammy winner for Classical Producer of the Year in 1999, the live recording also features five-piano arrangements of three movements from Gustav Holst's The Planets and Danse Macabre , a tone poem by
Camille Saint-Saëns. The Juilliard educated siblings will perform The Rite of
Spring in its entirety at their Carnegie Hall debut.
The 5 Browns ' book, Life Between the Keys , was published by
Phoenix Books in 2009, and the group was featured in a PBS TV special, The 5 Browns In Concert , which aired on PBS throughout the country.
