Phoenix, AZ (Top40 Charts/ D-Mentd Entertainment) After returning home from a Japan tour, retro rapper Random, aka Mega Ran is hitting the west coast with chiptune legend Danimal Cannon for the "Totally Rad Tour" this July.
Starting in Seattle at the first ever Arcade Armaggedon event at the Vera Project inside the historic Seattle Center, the tour will hit Portland, San Francisco, San Jose, Los Angeles, San
Diego for Comic Con 2013, and will end in Las Vegas. The tour promises to bring the fun, high energy and surprises to be expected at a show of this style.
Mega Ran's journey began in 2007, when a chance meeting with Capcom led to an unprecedented licensing agreement, leading Ran to create his unique brand of hip-hop without fear of legal action, and over 14 albums later,
Random stays true to his moniker. His newest release "Castlevania: The Nocturnal Cantata," shocked the world by debuting on the Soundscan Top 200 Rap Releases Chart.
Danimal Cannon, of Buffalo, NY, is widely known for his guitar work, and most recently as a chiptune mastermind, innovator and key member of the bands Armcannon, Weaponex, and Metroid Metal. He released his newest album "
