World Class Soprano Performs At Buckinghamshire Conference Centre
Lane End, Buckinghamshire (Top40 Charts/ Lane End Conference Centre) Well known soprano Charlotte de Rothschild has returned to Lane End Conference Centre to perform in a special concert titled Music For A Summer Day.

Charlotte performed for a select group of Japanese visitors, local business people, staff and friends of the Buckinghamshire-based Conference Centre.

This was her first appearance at Lane End since the 2011 concert in aid of victims of the Tohoku earthquake in Japan.

The event was organised by Teruko Iwanaga OBE, chairperson of Lane End Conference Centre and CEO of its sister company EJEF (The Euro Japanese Exchange Foundation).

Ms Iwanaga said: "It was a great pleasure to welcome Charlotte back to Lane End.
"The singing was as beautiful as ever and everyone commented on our facilities and the peaceful surroundings."

Ms de Rothschild was accompanied by acclaimed harpist, Danielle Perrett. The successful duo has performed together since 1993 in countries across the globe including France, South Korea, the USA and Japan.

Charlotte de Rothschild was one of the first foreigners to record a complete album of traditional Japanese songs. Her music is known internationally and she sings in 17 different languages.

She is a descendant of the famous Rothschild family line - thought to be one of the most influential families of the 18th century.

Her best known recital programme - Family Connections - includes songs composed by ancestors, friends and teachers of the family dating back over the past 200 years.

A few days before her concert at Lane End she performed these songs at Waddesdon Manor - a de Rothschild estate near the Buckinghamshire conference venue.

The concert at Lane End was held in The Pavilion, a self-contained building with a large function room, floor-to-ceiling windows and panoramic views of the rolling Chilterns countryside.

The Pavilion is one of five purpose-built venues at Lane End Conference Centre. It was designed to host conferences and events for up to 150 guests.

The building comes with a private foyer, one large conference room and three smaller meeting rooms for hire - ideal for group work and break-out sessions.

Its peaceful surroundings and stunning countryside views make it a perfect choice for civil ceremonies and wedding receptions.

The Pavilion at Lane End is a fully licensed outdoor wedding venue with the purpose-built Garden Gazebo to host its romantic outdoor ceremonies.

The venue is also ideal for Christmas parties in Buckinghamshire - this year's theme is '007 - A Licence to Party'.

The themed evenings are available for private parties of up to 130 guests. They include the themed room, Kir Royale cocktails on arrival, three-course dinner, party novelties, disco and a cash bar until 1am.

In total Lane End's conference facilities include six dedicated conference suites and 104 en-suite bedrooms between five distinct buildings.

The venue is ideally located with easy access from all the major motorways. It is only 30 miles from central London and 20 minutes by train from London Marylebone to High Wycombe.

For general enquiries or specific information about conference room hire, please contact Lane End Sales and Marketing Manager Heni Fourie, telephone +44 (0)845 521 3013.
