Honch aka Chief Honcho was born and raised in Philadelphia. With a family full of dancers, DJs, singers and rappers, Honch has always been around music. After seeing artists like LL Cool J, Rakim, Big Daddy Kane and Nas, he decided to pursue a career in the music industry. In high school, he formed the group Mad Destiny. They had local buzz, but eventually, Honcho left the group to work on his solo career.

To date, he has released and been a part of numerous mixtapes. He has worked with Ryan Toby from the group City High, producer Ty Fyffe, Prodigy of Mobb Deep, Taj Mahal (Da Youngstas) and many others. Honch has also opened for Lil Kim, The Lost Boyz, Camron, Mase, Mobb Deep, Cassidy, The Lox and more.
