New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Razor & Tie) Atlanta's favorite party metallers Attila are launching the pre-orders for their new album About That Life today, 4/20, at 4:20PM via Merchnow.
The date is no accident, either. 4/20 is like a national holiday for the band, which seeks good times, all of the time. Attila could think of no better way to celebrate the forthcoming release of About That Life (Artery Recordings/Razor & Tie), which lands at retail on June 25, than by launching a pre-order with a slew of cool items on 4/20.
Pre-order bundles will include a host of items, such as t-shirts, crew necks, tank tops, drawstring bags, rubber wristbands, shot glasses, posters, shorts, booty shorts, girl-cut shorts and hats. You can check out a taste of what's to come on About That Life and preview the absolutely explosive new track "Middle Fingers Up," as well as view pre-order items, by going here.
Make sure to crank the speakers as high as they'll go. The album, produced by Joey Sturgis (who has worked with everyone from Of Mice and Men to the Devil Wears Prada to Emmure), is the band's fifth release and the follow up to 2011's Outlawed.
More information regarding About That Life will be available soon. You've been warned...
In other Attila news, the band is wrapping a month-long tour of Europe with Emmure and Chelsea Grin. You'll be able to catch the band all summer as part of the annual Vans Warped Tour. Attila will be on the tour until July 11.
ABOUT ATTILA: Attila, who formed in 2005, have stormed their way onto the metal scene in recent years. They've quickly and deservedly earned a reputation as a good time, "party metal" band. They've also developed into an international sensation known for their crushing live shows.Attila have honed their live chops by remaining on the road in near-nonstop fashion over the last two years, performing with heavyweights such as Asking Alexandria, As I Lay Dying, Alesana, A Skylit Drive, Iwrestledabearonce, Suicide Silence and more, all the while holding their own. As frontman Chris "Fronz" Fronzak puts it, "All we want is for the listener to have a fun experience, and that is the main message behind our music." Attila's last album, 2011's Outlawed, landed at No. 7 on the Billboard Independent Chart; at No. 8 on the Hard Music Chart; and at No. 87 on the Top 200 Chart.
