COLOMBUS, OH. (SupersonicUSA Records/ www.supersonicusa.com) - SupersonicUSA Records announced today that it will release a newly remastered album, 'Midwest Funk 3,' double CD compilation album exclusively for iTunes download beginning August 31, 2004. The record features the track, "Ride Till We Die," with the performances of Tommy Boy rapper Coo Coo Cal and Twista, who is currently No 7 on Billboards top rap tracks with his R. Kelly collaboration, 'So Sexy.'
'The entire Midwest Funk album is hot and I thought with some remastering, we can really make a run with this material this time,' Tony Reynolds, SupersonicUSA owner said.
The specially priced 2 CD set album also has tracks from acts like Troop, Nuffy, Souljahboy, Hoffa and Ideal.

The Midwest Funk 3 compilation was promoted primarily with commercials on BET and MTV featuring all of the artists including Twista.

The single will be offered exclusively at iTunes for a month and then on other outlets.
The remastered Twista and Coo Cool Cal track will be included on a hot new movie currently in production, 'Black Salt.' (https://www.blacksaltfilm.com) It is a story about honor and an ancient and powerful style of martial arts that has been practiced in Shaolin for hundreds of years.

The rap will also be included on a new documentary, 'High Wattage 9/11: Face the Hip Hop Nation,' which SupersonicUSA will release in September. The documentary features DJ Eddie B, who was in New York to film a video with the Jr. Mafia (Notorious B.I.G. and Lil' Kim) when the terrorist attack happened.
'I can't wait to see the reaction of the newly remastered Midwest Funk 3 album,' Owen Ratliff, CEO of Ratti Entertainment, who originally released the compilation said.
