LONDON, UK (Top40 Charts/ Debbie Aramide official website) Debbie Aramide is an rnb/pop/indie/soul singer/songwriter from London, determined to make her mark on the music scene. Having been influenced by acts such as Toni Braxton and Whitney Houston from the early age of six, she has been crafting her talent, attending theatre school, song writing and performing.
Performing is nothing new for this young artist. A mainstay on the music circuit for the past 3 years Debbie thrives off live performances and has performed at various live events such as I Luv Live, Writers Block, The Showcase Spectacular and Something for Sunday. All this has nurtured her talent and helped her receive extensive critical acclaim from her peers. Debbie has also graced the stages of Proud Camden, Edinburgh Festival, Lovebox Festival, Underage Festival and Hackney Weekend alongside artists such as Leona Lewis, Katy B, Labrinth, Snoop Dogg and Janelle Monae. Having opened for renowned artists such as US chart sensation Aloe Blacc and Dionne Bromfield in front of a staggering audience of over 3000, Debbie plans to make herself a household name in the near future.
Her much anticipated EP 'The Tide' was released early last year (2012) for free download and received wide reception with thousands of downloads. She describes her sound as indie meets soul, with an rnb/pop twist. Debbie is set to release her new single 'Wonder Boy' which comes off her latest EP due for release later this year.
