Soulbound Riders Releases New EP 'Get My Life Together'
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) The phenomenon of hard rock known as the Soulbound Riders have released their new EP record, titled, "Get My Life Together." The album is comprised of five original tracks for an approximate total of 30 minutes' worth of listening, making for a comprehensive EP release just short of a full-length title. This is a round introduction to the high-octane, new music group, one that paints the Soulbound Riders as a surprisingly prolific creative force, as well as a shockingly hardcore crew of hard rock with elements of metal and grunge thrown in.

"The album is mostly energetic hard rock," the Soulbound Riders write of their debut EP, "with the single being a little slower."

The title track, "Get My Life Together," is mainly gorgeous acoustic guitar work and stunning vocals that recall the work of Layne Staley (Alice in Chains) and Axl Rose (Guns 'n' Roses), though Soulbound's lead vocals are arguably better than either of these legendary singers. It is the first track on the record, and sets a profound, gorgeous tone that pours out like gasoline into a small room, which is then sparked to roaring flame by the tracks that follow. Drums pound like pistons, the bass thrums and hums way out front, like the work of Filter or Clutch. Soulbound's guitars shred like whirling blades. The combination is explosive chemistry, and they're writing material faster than a hack journalist.

Soulbound Riders comment candidly on this aspect of their music, saying, "['Get My Life Together'] is a representation of two people who met through their passion for music, and over eight months wrote over 20 songs, all very different from one other."

The secret to their songwriting lies in raw, untrammeled honesty. "We weren't trying to be anything, we just wrote whatever came out of us. The single was written and recorded on the spot in half an hour, with some minor touches added later. The EP is music written from the heart. It is a representation of what we were feeling at the time the song was written."

"Get My Life Together" by the Soulbound Riders is available online worldwide beginning spring 2013.

The EP "Get My Life Together" is distributed globally by MondoTunes (www.MondoTunes.com) and is available at iTunes or www.top40-charts.com for convenient purchase and download.
