Daniel Borges aka Daze hails from Chicago, Illinois. Raised on the northwest side of the city where drug and gang activity was common, he chose music as an escape and expression of his feelings. Influenced by artists such as 2Pac, Cassidy, Nas, 50 Cent, and DMX, Daze learned to appreciate the art of hip- hop which led to him writing raps at the age of 11.

Daze matured quickly while growing up due to the many obstacles he faced. Despite his battles with drugs and alcohol, when it came to his music, he was always ambitious. Daze began to take his music career seriously when he met his partner Agitate at 15 years old. Soon after, he was introduced to Rip 'em Up Records label where he built a family, relationships of respect and a brotherhood. "Barz 4 Daze" is now available for download or streaming.
