Whosoever South Signs Management Deal With Michael Smith & Associates, Expands Distribution Via Elevate Entertainment
Nashville, Tenn. (Top40 Charts/ Nashville Publicity) Strong advance buzz for Whosoever South's debut album, "Goin' Home" (Pitbull Productions), has led to expanded distribution through Elevate Entertainment and a new management deal with Nashville-based Michael Smith & Associates. "Goin' Home" will be available everywhere music is sold on May 14th.

It was no surprise that Whosoever South's unique blend of country and hip hop quickly caught the attention of many industry insiders. Within days of initially announcing the album via a press release, management and distribution options began to present themselves.

"As soon as I heard the music, I knew that this was something really special," said veteran artist manager Michael Smith. "There is something so unique, yet so authentic, about this band. I predict that this will be the next big thing in Christian music."

Produced by Asaf Fulks (Young Jeezy, Lil Wayne), "Goin' Home" combines street savvy influences like TobyMac and Lecrae with country and bluegrass styles similar to the T Bone Burnett-produced "O Brother Where Art Thou" soundtrack.

"The reaction from buyers has been fantastic," said Elevate Entertainment founder Marty Drury. "This record has the potential to be big for Christian retail."

Whosoever South has partnered with NewReleaseTuesday, JesusFreakHideout, Rapzilla and HolyCulture.net for street week and launch promotions, and a major media tour will kick off later this month with stops at such national outlets as 100 Huntley Street, MXTV, Body Builders and TCT Sessions, among others. The band will celebrate the album's release on May 17th with a hometown concert with Sidewalk Prophets and Jason Castro at the House of Worship in Jesup, Georgia.

"We're just overwhelmed with the reaction and support to this project," says Whosoever South's Rowdy Eunice. "We're excited to bring our unique southern style to Christian music fans, but even more excited to share the Good News with those that need to hear it."
