S.P.A.D.E Releases New Single '40oz.'
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) The Brooklyn grown rap artist known as S.P.A.D.E has released his newest hip hop single, titled, "40oz." on Igrindnyc Records, to broad critical and fan acclaim. The single is a down low, laid back anthem of the urban underground with all of the slick class and mystique that has made S.P.A.D.E one of the most rapidly climbing stars of the year 2013.

The music of S.P.A.D.E's track features a jazzy back beat with a restrained ride cymbal for accompaniment, traditional hip hop synth melody lines, and suave, mellow keys played lightly in the background. This is all stage and circumstance surrounding the main attraction, however, which is the writing and performance of S.P.A.D.E, himself.

S.P.A.D.E has taken a fresh view of nightlife in his new single, "40oz." In this latest track, his rap is understated and sung deep in the groove, with plenty of verve, swing and style, bespeaking a quiet arrogance for which his musician's bio says he has become famous:

"In the eyes of others he may come off as a bit 'cocky,'" it reads, "but to him, he is simply confident and comfortable with his vibrant style."

This vibrant style is certainly omnipresent in "40oz.," which is all about the general mood and tone of the music. In fact, it is S.P.A.D.E's style that seems to direct the song's energy from start to finish. All swagger aside, though, there is meaning that comes with his poetry of the street.

"This record," S.P.A.D.E writes, "gives a view how alcohol consumption makes you think and do different things. We abuse certain things. There's always a better way."

Today's better way to modern hip hop is "40oz." by New York City's S.P.A.D.E. Keep an eye on him. And the better way to handle a forty-ouncer?

"Enjoy your drink, but don't over do it," says the rapper.

"40oz." by S.P.A.D.E is available online worldwide April 23, 2013.
