New York, NY (Top40 Charts) The Long Island, New York artist known as M.A.C. has released his debut single, titled, "Fly Away (feat. Katie Taylor)" on the Aces Nation record label. The song is a rap anthem of modern urban romance and showcases to many listeners for the first time the writing and rapping talents of one of NYC's most evocative and vibrant up-and-coming artists. The track also features the clarion voice and masterful singing skills of Katie Taylor, who appears at length for supporting vocals on the track.
M.A.C. is the stage moniker of Bay Shore native,
Miguel Angel Cabreja. He has said that the themes of his songs have revolved around stories drawn from his own personal life, which he calls his greatest muse.
"Through writing lyrics," he writes candidly, "I've found myself able to freely project every thought and feeling, bringing them to life through music that contains energy and character."
Certainly, M.A.C.'s character is ever-present in "Fly Away." His performance is lightning quick, yet eloquent, poetic, and remarkably well enunciated. Listening carefully to his words is like thinking ideas in rapid succession, one after another, with a mental alacrity that far exceeds the casual cadence with which one is used to thinking. Hearing M.A.C. rap sounds and feels, in many ways, like waking up with a clear head, a sober mind, and a razor sharp intellect.
His goals for making hip-hop music are also very clear.

A teacher by example, M.A.C. is currently attending Full Sail University for the Recording Arts and concurrently planning his maiden musical tour. Though his own impetuous ambitions are obvious, it cannot be missed that the focus of this debut track is one of dedicated romance, the passionate love of another. M.A.C.'s other themes will have to wait for his inevitable (and hopefully impending) LP record album.
